ENGIE are recruiting for a Caretaker to be based in Lacewood Primary School Bolton-On-Dearne. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive industry salary, and a high quality benefits package.

The role covers all aspects of general site management including litter picking, planned and reactive building maintenance, porterage, security, reception and being a key link between ENGIE and the school.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

· 
Complete planned maintenance as directed including; emergency light testing, fire alarm testing, L8 testing, biomass maintenance etc.

· 
Complete minor works as required including painting and putting up notice boards etc.

· 
Ensuring all equipment used is in good repair and used to company / manufacturer's instructions.

· 
Maintain all company documentation in accordance with required contractual and legal standards.

· 
Manage any external contractors on site to company and H&S guidelines and issue permits to access as required.

· 
To ensure security of the building at all times.

· 
Be responsible for dealing with the fire brigade upon fire alarm activations.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  Experience required in a trade or similar role.
·  H&S experience in terms of manual handling and working at height preferred.
·  To have an excellent customer service skills.
·  To understand COSHH guidelines and colour coding
