The role is data-intensive and hence the successful candidates should be extremely comfortable working with large sets of data and deliver business insights from the data using analytical techniques.

The successful candidates should also be able to offer a strategic perspective, sound business judgment, and be able to work collaboratively / cross-functionally with multiple teams, located in different geographies. He/She will have a hands-on approach to data analysis, strong intellectual curiosity, and a passion for achieving practical business impact.

·  MS or above in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent is required for this position.
·  3+ years industrial Industry eexperience in data mining or statistical data processinganalysis is preferred. Solid, with detailed understanding of descriptive statisticss, visualization, hypothesis testing, regression, hypothesis testing, classification etc.
·  Hands-on experience with data processing, e.g. SQL and Pig/Hive is necessary.
·  Hands-on experience with one of statistical analysis tools: R, Python or others is necessary.
·  Experience in web or social analytics is preferred
·  Ability to work independently and in a team to research innovative solutions to challenging business problems
·  Attention to detail and data accuracy.
