The Workday AMS Lead will be a part of the application management services team supporting Workday post-production engagements. They will act independently and advise on the solution configuration for large and small complex Workday projects. He/she will lead discovery, design, configuration, testing, and deployment for multiple AMS projects.They will need to look at Workday from the client's perspective to interpret, understand, and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
As the lead, they will mentor others and share knowledge to help DXC’s AMS practice grow and thrive. He/she will provide subject matter expertise across Workday HCM and Cross Application touch points and contribute world-class approaches to discovery, fit-gap, process design and re-engineering. They should be able to interact and lead discussions with the client with minimal supervision.
Key R espo nsibilities:
· Coordinate issue resolution with internal consultants and the client
· Business analysis representing multiple area(s) of functional expertise e.g. Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting
· Partner with the client to identify requirements, understand enhancement opportunities, and improve process efficiency within the Workday functionality
· Support the tenant migration, enhancement, and release management processes
· Provide recommendations of best practices that meet the client’s needs/requirements
· Work independently. Take direction and provide status to the Engagement Manager assigned to their project
· Work according to the assigned priorities to ensure client’s service level agreements are met
· Coordinate with consultants from around the world
· Provide thorough documentation of enhancements/changes made to client’s Workday environment
Preferred skills
· 3-5+ years ERPor SaaS HCM implementation andupdate experience
· Workday Certified in at least 1 area. Multiple certifications preferred
· Excellent communication skills delivering to functional and management audiences, as well as to external Clients
· Practical experience gained on AMS projects (e.g. greenfield implementation of SAP HCM, PA, PY)
· Practical experience gained on HR data migration and/or integrations projects (e.g. during “to Cloud” transformation projects)
· Strong consulting skills, handling customer expectations
· Fluent speaker of the English language
· Strong analytical mindset and usage of Excel
