Key responsibilities:
The Primary responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Preparation and monitoring of business line forecasts on a quarterly basis
- Responsibility for quarterly consolidation process
- Preparation of tax computations
- Production of Central Bank reporting on monthly and quarterly basis
- Ad hoc project work
- Preparation of consolidated reports
- Monthly Central Bank reporting on monthly and quarterly basis
- Production of quarterly figures for the CSO (Central Statistics Office)
- Production of Expense Analysis by entity
- Preparation of bi monthly VAT return
- Supervision of the asset register and the invoice register.
- Supervision of accruals and prepayments
- Production of schedules to support the accounts
- Other management reporting
Education / Experience:
- Qualified Accountant with two years post qualification experience.
- Strong Knowledge of IAS 32 & 39
- Experience of dealing with a market risk function
- Previous experience in a banking environment
- Good Systems knowledge
- Strong Problem Solving Skills
- Strong Microsoft Access and Excel skills are required including the use of macros.

- Excellent knowledge of Spanish is required. Knowledge of English will be considered an advantage.
