Job description

An interesting role within the Credit Suisse Data Protection Office part of the Regulatory Affairs organization team with responsibility to ensure that the organization aligns with all relevant privacy-related legislation across the CH region.

In this position, you will:

· Assist the DPOR (Data Protection Office Representative CH) in all Data Protection matters across the CH region
· Support DPOR in all activities related to the management of Data Subject Requests
· Conduct Risk Assessment of Personal Data Breaches involving CH region
· Support Data Breach notification procedures together with the Group Data Protection Office
· Support in providing advice to internal business partners in the context of Swiss Data Protection Law and GDPR, including Data Privacy Assessments and Privacy by Design questions
· Review data privacy elements of system/solution design, key processes and Data Privacy Inventory (DPI)
· Monitor Data Protection legislation changes, regulatory and industry development, specifically in relation to the CH region
· Monitor and maintain records of CS entities in the region, in scope of the DPO mandate,
· Supporting the DPOR in implementing processes to newly set-up entities as well as adjusting to changes of the existing ones
· Perform ongoing monitoring and testing of control effectiveness and address potential problems
· Liaise with the central Data Protection Office team in producing relevant Management Information, Key Performance Indicators, Key Risks Indicators

· Support DPOR in liaising with GC, Compliance and other key partners with respect to all meaningful aspects of Data Protection regulations

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  University degree in Finance, Law or Economics
·  A minimum 3 years of experience in legal, compliance or advisory function with an exposure to data management and protection
·  A sound knowledge of the Data Protection laws, specifically Swiss Data Protection and GDPR
·  You have a deep understanding of the financial sector legal and regulatory environment, ideally with experience with local authorities
·  You possess excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to exercise judgment with high ethical and control standards.
·  You work in full autonomy and coordinate work across multiple entities, teams and locations
·  Your positive personality helps you in building up good relationships within the team and across the bank
·  You remain independent and reliable in day to day conduct at work, show passion to succeed and work in a fast-paced environment
·  You are highly flexible and motivated with a proven ability to work well under pressure.
·  You speak fluent English and German.
