CIB COMPLIANCE – ACTIMIZE OFFICER (TEMPORAL)

JOB DESCRIPTION / DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Continuing Functions:

The main functions of a member of the CIB Compliance Department, as Actimize Officer, reporting functionally and hierarchically to the Head of CIB Compliance, are:

· To cooperate to ensure that all CIB & Group activities are carried out in accordance with the requirements of applicable law concerning Anti-Money Laundering, regulation of the securities market and, Customer Protection and rules of conduct at large. In that regard the ACTIMIZE officer will be responsible for the AML TM Tool alerts management and will respect the Group procedures and local legislation. He will have the following tasks:

· To ensure that: ACTIMIZE Alerts are subject to proper and adequate Management in Level 1 and 2, and that this alert mgmt is compliant with CIB, Group and Regulatory guidelines

· To ensure:

· The proper and due documentation of all the L1 & L2 closed alerts

· And the completion of enhanced scrutiny on txns on certain Actimize Alerts, that may require further analysis

· To ensure that all alerts are closed on a timely basis, respecting the different deadlines with corresponding reminders

· To ensure that all alerts are closed with appropriate comments

· To liaise with DD Teams and eventually with Coverage Teams (RMs) in order to obtain proper justification of alerts (invoices, contracts, Due Diligence documents, etc..)

· To collaborate to ensure CIB & Group's reputation and image in Spain, through the publication of appropriate procedures and controls.

· To eventually collaborate to the implementation, application and monitoring of the CIB and Group procedures and controls on AML, as well as those stemming from internal regulations (BNPP Group Policies).

· Contact and coordination with SEPBLAC (Bank of Spain AML Executive Service).

Additionally, within the task of Customer Protection carried out by the CIB Department:

· To collaborate in the independent treatment of every business line's customer complaints.

Occasional Functions:

▪ Punctual advice to employees regarding AML issues (regulation, internal procedures…). These kind of queries are very frequent and informal, though sometimes are formalised in Authorization Committees (NACs, TACs, CACs…)
