Job Title : VPN Engineer

Job Location : PUNE, Maharashtra

Job description and responsibilities:

·  A strong engineer – anticipate challenges and needs
·  Knowledge of Pulse Secure products
·  Experience in Network security/SSL VPN, URA domain 
·  Good network troubleshooting skills with understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, VLANs, and protocols including HTTP1/2, DNS, SNMP, FTP
·  Good knowledge AD/LDAP/Radius
·  Good Knowledge  Enterprise Security: SAML/SSO, IPSEC, PKI, traditional overlay VPN technologies
·  Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking architecture, with relevant network experience
·  Good to have worked before with ticketing tools: SDM is preferable
·  Comfortable talking and conduct a virtual meeting with end users, diagnose, troubleshoot and replicate issues, reach and identify solutions for them
·  Highly organized - calmly juggle multiple tasks and priorities

 

You will be responsible for:

·  Having 3+ years of Experience in IT/networking
·  Effectively communicate in a peer level with IT professionals to quickly and accurately recommend and communicate solution
·  Provide technical guidance and best practices as SME
·  Ensure identified issues are recorded, reported to Vendor and maintaining the status of the problem, problem resolution
·  Participate in technical review process/testing phase for new Vendor products which are to be implemented within Atos organization
·  Actively participate and proactively document any errors identified in new products released by Vendor which are implemented within Atos organization
·  A team-player – work closely with younger team members, provide support in escalations, project work, audit
·  Conduct specific implementation scenarios when upgrades are required
·  Provide technical guidance and best practices, create documentation
·  Able to communicate complex ideas, concepts and technology
·  Able to design and recommend implementation methods using the vendor VPN solution to other Atos Organizations
·  Key person in technical escalations, Major incidents
·  English on intermediate level (at least B2 level)
·  Good command of German and/or French (TOEIC certification) will be a plus.

Working hours: Readiness to work in shifts (24/7) and on-call where required
