Position Description

TN Americas is seeking an Quality Supervisor for our Columbia, MD location. This position is responsible for envisioning, defining and executing business plans. Manages a moderate organization of quality assurance professionals and support staff. Position has cost center responsibilities and may have multiple work group responsibilities.

Additional job responsibilities will include the following:

· Managing Safety, QA Administration and Support personnel. Major Duties and Responsibilities.
· Manages a quality assurance program that establishes strong relationships with clients.
· Leads a process improvement program that allows the company to maintain or surpass industry leaders.
· Provides goals, objectives and standards of performance for the group that are necessary to reach the required level of performance to carry out mission.
· Oversee/coordinate TN safety health and environmental programs at TN controlled office, field service, and fabrication locations.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position:
·  BS degree plus 12 years of quality assurance or engineering experience in the nuclear field. An advanced degree (MS or MBA) may substitute for 1-2 years of related work experience.
·  Minimum of OSHA 511 certification.
·  Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·  Proficiency with PC-based applications such as MS Office.
·  Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.Ability to change priorities quickly, confront issues directly and work well as part of a team.

The fol lowing requirements are desired and will be used to differentiate all candidates who apply for this position.

· 
Prior work experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment.

· 
Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of particular field of specialization to the completion of significant assignments.

· 
Experience with writing procedures.

· 
Advanced OSHA certifications and knowledge of ISO 14001 environmental standard.
