There is an exciting opportunity to join the European Marketing organisation in Global Merchant Services. Global Merchant Services Marketing is dedicated to bringing buyers and sellers together and transforming how American Express is welcomed. GMS Marketing is responsible for partnering with GMS markets to drive profitable growth, accelerate coverage and enhance the value of Amex acceptance to merchants and Card Members at scale. We focus on enhancing our relationships with millions of merchants of all shapes and sizes, and our geographic purview includes many commerce hubs across the globe including the U.S, Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. It is also critical for GMS Marketing to collaborate effectively with Card Issuing teams and other sister organizations across the Blue Box including Client Management, Marketing Operations, Information Management, Enterprise Digital, Global Advertising and Brand Management and World Service in order to fully harness the power of the closed loop via mediums including Custom Consulting, Offers, Recommendations, Multi-Merchant Campaigns, Digital Experiences and Brand Awareness. Job description:
• Execution of Marketing Campaigns for key Merchants: Pre-analysis, CMS request, quotation, support in Campaign Development, Campaign's tracking results.
• Campaign Set-up in Amex systems such as Registered Card, STAR, MDT, CMS, etc.
• Campaign Measurement and analysis
• Acquisition Marketing activities: manage bespoke and regular POP, acquisition brochure ware; lead generation initiatives, application forms, etc.
• Manage A&P budgets related to key account marketing and discretional
• Driving and delivering Card spend at Merchant establishments in order to drive business growth as well as ensure merchant satisfaction through different channels available.
• Provide marketing support to local Client Managers and Acquisition teams.
• Updating sales material and value proposition
• Localize marketing actions aimed at the Spanish market for key accounts managed abroad
• Manage Regular Communication channels with local and international marketing teams: New to Amex newsletter, Welcome, etc.
• Work with the other areas to develop and implement a segmented communication strategy
• Manage and develop Merchant Marketing activities with the Core Merchant Segment
• Market Research: Competitor analysis; Best practices; Successful campaigns…
• Day to day relation with agencies: briefings, guidelines, quotations, etc.

Perfil buscado
• +3 years of Marketing experience, preferably in a financial service environment
• Bachelor's or Master degree in marketing
• Language skills required: Spanish , English
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues across functional areas
• Ability to work independently within a matrix organisation, working as a part of the local Team and International marketing organisation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, work under pressure.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving and rapidly changing matrix environments.
• Ability to manage and deliver multiple high quality, high visibility analyses under tight timelines.
• Excellent project management and prioritisation skills.
• Analytical skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Online and new technologies knowledge and Digital space (online marketing experience is preferred)
• Knowledge of the card/payment business is preferred.
• Analytical thinking abilities together with experience of using data analysis.
• Ability to independently drive and consistently deliver excellent results in a very challenging environment
• Ability to develop comprehensive and compelling marketing strategies / plans using internal and external research methods, analytical rigor and best practices.
