Are you interested in taking your skills and career to the next level, while having fun and fighting bad guys? Join a growing world class team to conduct investigations in order to prevent malicious and fraudulent usage on AWS. You will be an integral member of a team of analysts, investigators, and specialists conducting complex investigations of fraud activity. You will aid in identifying new and emerging fraud threats through data extraction and analysis, as well as consumption of 3P cybercrime threat intelligence reports.

You will leverage your analytical and data skills to deep dive on a myriad of fraud activity to help drive complex investigations and investigative strategies. You will be at the forefront of keeping abreast of trends and fraud issues impacting the cloud industry to ensure AWS is leading the curve in identifying, migrating and preventing fraud attacks.

Responsibilities Include:
· Assist in building the analytical component of a world class team conducting complex and deep dive investigations of sophisticated criminals and criminal enterprises
· Understand the requirements of stakeholders and map them with the data sources/data warehouse
· Assist in the design and development of highly available dashboards and metrics using appropriate software and programing solutions
· Provide wing-to-wing project lifecycle execution (project planning, execution, risk assessment and system availability)
· Execute analytical projects and understanding of analytical methods particularly as it relates investigating transnational organized crime enterprises
· Identify new and emerging patterns of fraud and make recommendations for new controls and improved monitoring
· Use statistical analysis to segment customer behavior and develop targeted solutions to prevent sophisticated fraud activity
· Work with cross-functional teams across Amazon/AWS for collaboration on fraud risks and investigations
· Liaise with private industry groups involved in fraud prevention and mitigation
· Take on ad-hoc projects/assignments related fraud investigations/prosecutions as necessary

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in e-commerce/on-line companies in fraud / risk control functions
· Experience working with Federal/State/foreign law enforcement or national security agencies
· Experience in leading strategic and analytical projects related to; Fraud or Cyber Crime or Financial Crimes or White Collar Crimes or Financial Risk Management
· Cloud computing experience/knowledge
· Exposure to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
· Experience working with teams across regions (U.S.; EMEA; APAC)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree, preferably in an analytical field - e.g. Economics, Operations, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or an in applicable social sciences field such as Criminal Justice or Law.
· At least four years of experience working in Analytics/Business Intelligence environment
· Experience in working with databases and relational data set solutions in a business or government environment
· Proficient in extracting and processing data using SQL and Excel
· Detail-oriented and must have an aptitude for solving unstructured problems. The role will require the ability to extract data from various sources and to design/construct/execute complex analyses to come up with data/reports that help solve the business problem
· Demonstrated use of commercial and proprietary analytical software solutions as well as query languages such as SAS, SPSS and SQL.
· Prior experience in design and execution of analytical projects
· Worked extensively in large scale databases and data warehouses
· Ability to apply analytical, computer, statistical and quantitative problem solving skills
· Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
· Ability to work effectively in a multi-task and high volume environment
· Ability to be adaptable and flexible in responding to deadlines and workflow fluctuations
· Ability to deal with high level of ambiguity
