In this role, as Rail Merchant Analyst you will be part of our team managing the financial relationship with our partners in the Rail Merchant and the Multicarrier Platform areas. You will be responsinle to ensure proper Rail Merchant and Multicarrier Platform billing (MCP), collection as well as payments reconciliation between content provider railways, subscribers and payment providers. You will be the entry point in the department assesing contracts and supporting the billing automation process.

Main Responsibilities

· BILLING, COLLECTION and PAYMENTS: You will manage the monthly billing and collection for the different players (railways, subscribers, sales agents and payment providers) in the Rail Merchant and Multicarrier Platform context as well as any related payments. You will also be involved in the calculation and follow up of KPIs on the billing and collection services provided with a view to management reporting and permanent process improvement to safeguard the Amadeus revenues and related collection. Under the passthrough principle of the Merchant model, maximize the percentage of invoices collected and monitor with monthly KPIs.
· RAIL MERCHANT SUPPLIER MATCHING AND RECONCILIATION : Monthly matching of ticket amounts sold on the subscriber side vs. the ticket amounts charged to us by the content provider railways. Investigation and clarification of any discrepancies found.
· MULTICARRIER PLATFROM RECONCILIATION MANAGEMENT : Reconciliation of the ticket amounts received from the different payment providers vs. the amounts due to MCP partners. Investigation and root cause resolution of discrepancies found.
· CONTRACT MANAGEMENT AND CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP : Validate the accurate application of contractual conditions in the financial documents received from the rail providers. Contract management of the subscriber side when needed. Resolve provider and customer queries and claims related to the invoing and collection process.
· CONTRACT FEASIBILITY ASSESSMENT / PRODUCT MODEL EXPERTISE : Validate the feasibility, risks and cost of ownership of new contracts, opportunities, etc. Ensure the model remains sustainable as well as give recommendations to minimize the risk exposure of Amadeus in the Rail Merchant and MCP models.

Your PROFILE
To perform thir role you must hold an University Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Economics with at least 2-3 years' experience in Finance prefereably in a multinational Firm. Your skills must include an advanced level of English , as you will be permanently involved in international working environment. A basic understanding of the Travel Industry , in particular Rail and Travel agencies is desirable.
Some of the key subject matter expertise you contribute would include: expertise in the usage of Excel , German/French/Italian a plus, strong with numbers, analytical mindset . Motivation, positive collaborative attitude, willing to learn, open minded.
