Summary of the role

As a Commercial Operations Specialist you will be responsible and accountable for the execution of reporting cycle, analyses, registration of Travel Agencies & driving Hotel sales adoption in the targeted sales markets. You will provide operational support to the Hotel Distribution management and Heads of Local Sales and perform complex data analyses in order the set the base for strategic decisions and define scope of new projects of Hotel Distribution.

Main responsibilities

· Monitor and report adoption process, including progress on customer set-up, commercial/product feedback, blocking issues and search/booking activity.
· Ensure that the monthly reporting is retrieved and distributed to the pool of stakeholders on time.
· Guarantee high data quality.
· Continuous improvements of current reporting using Business Intelligence and other reporting tools, while collecting valuable feedback from the stakeholders.
· Partner with key stakeholders in order to improve complex processes; build strong network and manage expectations.
· Provide regular trainings via WebEx or in person for the interested Agencies & Agents in the corresponding markets.
· Follow-up with the targeted Travel Agencies, provide support for solving any issues and collecting feedback.

Requirements

Languages:

· English: Fluent
· French or German: Intermediate. Any other languageis a plus.

Computing: Proficient - Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Project Office, CRM, Salesforce, other reporting tools

Experience:

· 2 years workingin cross-functional, fast-paced environment
· Analytical skills to interpret numbers and convert analyses into recommendations for Sales teams/Management. Previous knowledge of the travel and hotel industry a plus.
· Data crunching and expressing visually & graphically in PowerPoint or reports
· Previous experience with big data and programming valued.
