As Bid Management expert on Big Data youroverall mission is to plan, produce and deliver solution design and proposal compliant with customer expectations in a changing business environment. You will be part of our BI expert unit called Travel Intelligence in our corporate headquartes in Madrid.

Within this jobyou will hinge these main axes:

Lead the design of every non standard proposal, endorsing the commitment of the solution group.
Understand customer needs, advising how to solve business needs, and providing high level scope.
Coordinate with all technical stakeholdersin order to get feasibility study, cost, and elapsed plan assumption.

In coordination withthe responsibleof service bid management, secure validation of every stakeholders conducting go / no go approval to appropriate steering group and final approval by the responsible ofsolution group.

You will beresponsible for understanding customer business needs beeing the advisor on the business requirements of the service to be delivered and presentingthe documentation of the understood business requirements.

You will also design the solutionliaising with product manager and pre-sales areas by agreing on the requirement to be considered in scope and manage customer expectation, obtaining solution scope sign off by the customer, coordinating with technical counterpartsto assess the costs inherent to the solution build,involving 3rd party integrators and vendors (if necessary) and assessing the risk level and consider contingency level.

You will liaise with product manager to define portfolio contribution of the solution being designed, and adapt the solution pricing strategy accordingly. You will define the floor price of the solution and associated business case and document the proposal in a proper statement of work.

Your profile

In this Bid Management Big Data role you will hold anUniversity degree (or equivalent) in ITEngineering or Business Administration . You willhave proven experience in the travel industry in a business area such asproject/product management or development. As desirable you will understand current and future Big Data technologies. You will have a fluent level of English .
