Job description

The role

Steer marketing for e-commerce in order to promote the product suite and drive sales and awareness.
Support implementation of the marketing campaigns from ideation to final analysis and refinement
Create engaging and informative content for the website, blog, social media, and any other content marketing channels that the business might leverage, both at group and in the regions.

 

Main tasks

- Create direction: Give direction to the regions and sufficiently anticipate yearly marketing plans vs campains (Y+1), to facilitate buy-in and adoption in their respective marketing plans 
- Create a brand and content "community" : through great content, effective best practices sharing (KPI: campaigns adoption locally,nb of assets/country)
- Deliver great content :
Produce new business content based on business needs and latest trends with a various set of assets, incl new creative formats eg podcasts, videos, animated gifs, animated infographics... (KPI: impressions growth, engagement growth)
Optimize and reuse existing content across digital and offline channels
Produce sales pitch 
- Measure and track the impact of marketing communication activities on the brand and business together with Com Manager and Acquisition Manager  (impression, engagement, lead gen...). 
- Coordinate communication actions with the Group Head of communication.
- Coordinate marketing activity with Group head of marketing
- Coordinate and promote events and manage merchandise inventories
- Liaise with the regional communication/marketing team and digital sales team to get your campaign relayed effectively
- In charge of key relations with key partners such as vendors, advertising agencies, and creative artists as needed
- Prepare and manage budgets for marketing activities
- With regional marketing teams, you  evaluate the performance of each campaign, prepare reports, and analyze budgets to optimize future strategie
- steer editorial calendar & committee with different content contributors
- be part of the group editorial calendar and steering committee (Gmkg, Gcom; GHR, ERD)

 

Required skills/knowledges/experiences:

 - Excellent communication & writing skills (business writing, interactive content writing, etc.) = large experience in marketing / com / journalism
- Sufficient expertise in graphic design to be able to create relevant format ( video, image, sliders and articles)
-  well-versed in various organic and paid marketing channels like PPC advertising, SEO, social media advertising, email campaigns, etc.
- Results driven : ability to support business decisions based on performance analysis
- Strong sense of initiative, innovation and creativity
- Project management skills and rigor
- Ability to work and interact easily in english (e.g. weekly editorial committee, calls with countries , calls with brand agency...)
- Curious about new tools enabling to reach prospects or to make marketing more effective

- Able to conduct market watch and market research
