Description of the job
A vacancy for a PMO (Project Management Office) has arisen within CRISA in Tres Cantos – Madrid.

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

Tasks & accountabilities
In Space Electronics 'Advanced Project' organisation you will act in a Project Management Office role with a particular objective to contribute with the teams (Project Managers , Cost Engineers, Equipment architects and different support functions) to the definition and implementation of Cost Engineering and quotation process for the Space electronics products design, manufacturing, integration and test.
You will be in charge of:
• Updating / updgrading a cost database to support costing exercises and quotations, compiling the available inputs from past projects and the from the experts and the different function contributing to the activities in line with the equipment development plans and process.
• Defining in coordination with Projects organisation, process delegate and finance the quotation forms allowing smooth transition between proposals and projects execution (work breakdown structures)
• Contributing to build a reliable cost models for Space Electronics activities and products
• For this role you will interface with the cost Engineers, equipment architects / system engineers of the entity in France and Spain.
• You will perform a mapping of all necessary skills.
• You will interface and collect information from the experts and the different functions involved (Finance, Engineering, Operations, Programmes, Components & Procurement..)
• You will analyse actuals cost structure on existing and past projects to update the general cost database
• You will work with system engineers to support products architectures definition and specificities requiring to be reflected in the cost models.

Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or science discipline.
• English and Spanish must be negotiation level, both written and spoken.
• Independent and accurate way of working.
