Description of the job

A vacancy for a Technical Publication L&M - IPC Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in San Pablo, Seville.
The successful applicant will join TASST3 Department.

Tasks & accountabilities

Prepare text and illustration on how to use and maintain an aircraft. Focus on IPC. Data structured in accordance with international standard like ATA and ASD. Key outputs are: - Illustrated parts catalogue (IPC) - Customer queries answers - Technical data KPI assessment and associated corrective actions - Subcontracting monthly review report - Supplier activities follow up

To manage technical authoring activities To manage subcontracting activities To handle validation and verification activities To ensure integration and management of all design criteria impacting technical data products To propose process and IT tool improvements To provide continuous and efficient support to customers and all users of the Maintenance, Repair, Wiring or Spares deliverables To ensure tutoring/coaching of newcomers.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline.
·  At least 3 years of experience in IPC (Illustrated Parts Catalogue)
·  Knowledge of technical tools like IDS, Samanta Civil/Militar is required.
·  Customer minded.
·  Able to perform under time, cost and quality demand.
·  Able to communicate directly with the customer or the Program Office on technical data issue.
·  English and Spanish: negotiation level
