Description of the job

A position as General Systems Labs Engineer within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid). The successful applicant will join TEATA-TL2 department.
In the domain of Aircraft Systems Rigs, focused on the activities related to General Systems Labs (Electrical Rigs, Pneumatic Rigs, Integrated Rigs, Fuel Rigs, Fire Lab, Avionic Benches) at which the domain is involved and working for the A400M, M&L, EFA, DERIVATIVES and R&T and R&D related projects, a position is needed to cover the forecasted activities for the near future.

Tasks & accountabilities

The main accountabilities of this position will be:
Test Installation Definition, Design, Development and Operation within the following steps:

·  Analysis of the test installation requirements.
·  Generation of specification document that includes detailed design of test installation -focused on electrical part- and that is agreed with the internal/external organization that requires the test.
·  Technical analysis to the received proposals that meet the specification document.
·  Coordination with the selected subcontractor during manufacturing stage.
·  Specific SW development according to the requested functionality of test installation.
·  Startup of the test installation.
·  Operation of the test installation: test execution.
·  Analysis of the obtained test results.
·  Generation of test report document.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
·  Experience in test installation.
·  Experience in SW development.
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
·  Able to propose new ideas
·  English :Advanced
