Description of the job

A position as a RFE Operations has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid). The successful applicant will join ESTOO department.
Your main role consists in leading Business Management, through harmonized and standardized processes across Engineering Structure - Airframe (ES), focusing in Rear Fuselage Empennage (EST) objectives' achievement (deliver on time, on quality and on cost) and enabling RFE Strategy & Standards.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main objective would be to Develop, Deliver & Drive business management across the RFE through the following:

·  Performance Management - To achieve RFE Deliverables on time, on quality & on cost; setting up workload baseline and tracking activities and hours per ESTx team. Anticipating possible deviation with performance indicators and promoting challenge action plan and reinforcing right business performance management; aiming EST objectives successful.
·  Programme Business Management - Establish, manage and control Workload, Workforce, Risk & Opportunities Management, Subcontracting monitoring, Scope change, Schedule Management and Budget tracking.
·  Offshoring & Outsourcing Management - Define RFE Offshore & Outsourcing strategy, plan and enable operations.
·  Resource and Competence - Ensure workload/workforce matching, balancing Make and Buy ratios. To enable skill & competence gap closure in RFE Program, Components and Engineering Plant teams.
·  Strategy, Lean, Change & AOS- STRATEGY. Develop and deploy a RFE Strategy Plan aligned to ES Strategy. LEAN & AOS, Deployment of Lean & AOS in RFE. CHANGE & AOS, Define & operate the RFE Change Platform to enable business improvements.

Required skills

·  Educated to Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
·  Experience in the job.
·  Advanced level in English.
·  Advanced level in Spanish.
·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
·  Able to propose new ideas.
