Description of the job

A vacancy for a Recruiter Business Partner has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe, Spain.

The successful applicant will join Airbus Group Employment Operations department.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be to implement the defined recruitment processes by:

·  Act as recruiting focal point for defined customers; actively support line managers and employees.
·  Discussing requirements such as skills and qualifications required for a position with the hiring managers and translate it in appealing job advertisements.
·  Advertise vacancies on appropriate job boards, both internal and external, career websites and other approved media.
·  Apply appropriate selection methods using knowledge of best practices in recruitment and selection.
·  Conducting internet research using internet search engines.
·  Evaluation and potential analysis of candidates (especially for complex profiles).
·  Conduct initial telephone interviews with potential candidates.
·  Conduct preselection and final selection face-to-face interviews.
·  Identifying prospective candidates internationally and discussing current and future opportunities with them.
·  Act in close co-operation with functional & divisional HR interfaces to run effective recruitment.
·  Develop and maintain relationships with the functional customers in the divisions.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a degree level in HR, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Economics, Psychology or equivalent.
·  Several years of experience in recruitment or candidate sourcing or in other Human Resources disciplines (e.g. as HR business partner).
·  Ability to quickly grasp job skills, competencies and industry knowledge to translate into searching avenues to find candidates.
·  Ability to read a job requirements and think of creative ways to find people with similar skill sets.
·  Ability to match prospect candidates to open vacancies with a high degree of success.
·  Ability to talk confidently to people and generate enthusiasm and interest in job opportunities with Airbus.
·  Knowledge of interview techniques and experience in conducting job interviews.
·  Must have excellent customer service and client interaction skills.
·  Take-charge & hands-on mentality, committed, solution oriented, flexible and open-minded.
·  User knowledge of MS Office and candidate management tools.
·  Languages: Spanish: Negotiation Level; English: Negotiation Level; French and/or German: Good knowledge would be a plus.
·  Willingness to travel.
