Description of the job

A vacancy for a MRO Quality Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid).

The successful applicant will join the MRO Production Quality Assurance department.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Ensure conformity Documentation of the progress of Works on the AC and closure.
·  Ensure that reference data are correctly managed
·  Accountable to grant data reliability and correct control of as built status.
·  Ensures the proper implementation of the quality assurance rules and that the company's industrial processes comply with all quality assurance requirements and standards.
·  Validates the product inspection plan and handles all product non conformance up to the product/service being delivered to the customer.
·  Accountable to track and provide conformity of documentation.
·  Ensure that all initial data are correctly uploaded in the IT, area maintained during the process and delivered correctly.
·  Manage IT deployments.
·  Process and deliver documentation on time and on quality.
·  Lead improvement in the area of his/her scope.
·  Ensure compliance of the process to applicable regulations.
·  Focus on customer satisfaction and deliver as excellence.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a degree level (or equivalent) in industrial or aeronautical engineering or a related discipline.
·  At least 3 years of experience in quality and manufacturing.
·  Previous experience in team management will be a plus.
·  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
·  Knowledge of Peli'cano+.
·  Willing to travel.
·  English and Spanish must be negotiation level, written and spoken.
·  Knowledge in French would be a plus.
·  Meticulous, analysis skills, organized and continuous improvement.
