A vacancy for a BI specialist has arisen in Information Management (IM) Team within Airbus Defence & Space in Barajas. The roles & responsibilities of the position will focus on the business partner mission of IM (core activities). Major tasks will be Opportunity Management, business requirement capturing, functional and technical consultancy and management of changes (projects and continuous improvements).
Furthermore a wide scope (cross country, cross programme lines) is mandatory for the new role. You will become part of the BI solution team with strong international exposure, participating in challenging and innovating projects. Dealing with the newest technologies in a multinational and dynamic environment will be part of the daily work activities.

Your Role
Act as IM Spanish focal point and BI expert for all the Reporting requirements, ensuring service quality and end users satisfaction.
Become the contact in Spain for the BI international team.
Provide specialist advice where appropriate for the Scoping, Development, Deployment/Implementation, Change Management, Application Maintenance & Evolution of relevant BI Information Systems.
Leverage technical trends and new technological possibilities (state of the art). Be part of the team that analyze and decide the BI tools that will be used in Airbus Defence and Space.
Deliver business value through continuous innovation on an international scale,
Adapt rapidly in an evolving environment through multifunctional and international teams.
Provide End to End (international) solutions focused on business outcome and User Experience.
Contribute to the definition and execution of the BI roadmap Airbus Defence and Space wide.

Your Responsibilities/Tasks
Analyze business requirements and translate them into IM solutions.
Manage projects (OTOQOC) in an agile way to implement new functionalities based on the business processes.
Ensure seamless integration of new tools and/or changes in the existing application landscape. Continuously work on further simplification and consolidation of this landscape.
Management, Application Maintenance & Evolution of relevant Information Systems.
Coordinate the communication with other IM areas.
Lead the change management activities after the deployment of any new tool.
Manage subcontractor resources.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in IT or a related discipline
·  Technical knowledge in BI tools: experience in SAP BW, IP and BO reporting tools are mandatory.
·  Additional experience in BW on HANA is desirable.
·  Quality processes Expertise (IM Projects and services).
·  Good communication and presentation skills and a pro-active approach to problem solving.
·  The ability to work to strict timescales as part of an integrated, multidiscipline team.
·  Influence, persuasive and change management skills are required.
·  Assertiveness.
·  English and Spanish: Negotiation level.
