Description of the job

A vacancy for a Programme Quality Management has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe.
The successful applicant will join (QUALITY / Assurance).
The successful applicant should be able to work on shifts, if required.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  To guarantee the conformity of a product /service according to the requirements specified by our customers, and to support deliveries on quality, on time and on cost to increase the customer satisfaction.
·  As single quality point of contact in front of customers / authorities, candidate will assure the communication, setting their requirements (including flight safety and reliability) in the operative company processes (develop, production, service and provisioning). Candidate will also assure that all the applicable activities along the cycle of product life (engineering and operations) are defined, planned and executed (from the offer at the end of the cycle of life of the product including phase in service if it proceeds).
·  The jobholder will make this according to the business management defined processes to provide customers / authorities of the required quality level, in time and in cost. To make this, candidate will pick up, analyzed, visualized and interpreted the product excellent and/or the operation data in service using all the available means (manuals and automatic) to identify and of preventing early deviations and to take effective measures by means of learned lessons and analysis of the root cause to attenuate and to solve any quality deviation. To participate and organize the deployment of preventive actions in the event of the baseline changes (e.g product modifications, changes of production processes, etc...). To be responsible for supervising and evaluating the process quality and project execution. You will also support actively the setting of excellence methodology (e.g. APQP) and / or any other applicable procedure / process, assuring that the appropriate corrective actions are available for their appropriate implementation.
·  He/she will be implied in the treatment of the non-conformity and concession including the analysis of the deviations, supervision of the corrective actions and taking preventive actions, as well as of contributing to the improvement of the quality standards.
·  He/she will obtain the necessary evidences so that the processes and the activities fulfill customers' requirements. You will develop, negotiate and execute the Quality Plan in the duration of the program / project, execute the process of internal revisions, consolidating the recording of technical risks and supervising the implementation of the associated actions to risk mitigation.
·  The jobholder will also assure the conformity of the product in what concerns to contractual and legal requirements, and he will supervise the status of conformity and attestation.
·  He/she will coordinate the resolution of quality customer claims, providing the answer to avoid recurrence in a future. If it proceeds, he/she will support the certifications of the company and their relationship with the external authorities.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to degree level in Engineering.
·  At least 3-5 years of experience in engineering or similar area.
·  At least 3-5 years of experience in quality or similar area.
·  At least 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or similar area.
·  English and Spanish: negotiation level.
