A vacancy for a Procurement Contract Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe.

Tasks & accountabilities

Tasks

·  Drafting of procurement contracts and contractual documents integrating all relevant requirements (e.g. legal economic, commercial, technological,

risk management).

·  Supporting the Commodity Management / Buyer in negotiation and post- signature of procurement agreements through contractual analysis, contract interpretation and creation of alternative contractual clauses.
·  Managing the definition and ensuring the implementation of the procurement contractual policy and associated procurement contractual terms and conditions taking into account the inputs provided by the relevant commodity management, as well as by Legal, Finance, Insurance and Export departments and applicable regulations.
·  Ensuring the quality and consistency of the procurement contracts.

Main Accountabilities:

Revision, optimization, and further development of existing standard procurement contracts and other contractual documents.

Contract drafting and support to negotiations of contracts together with the procurement commodity buyers.

Evolution of existing contractual documents: preparation, drafting and negotiation of e.g. complex contract amendments and
settlement agreements during the life cycle of the contract together with Procurement Commodity Buyers.

Signature of the contract validation form which shall contain the key elements of the contract (executive summary, main
deviations, risks and opportunities of the contract).

Contractual analysis of agreements during the contract administration phase and/or in case of disputes between Company and suppliers concerning
existing procurement contracts.

Provision of specialized support and expertise in contract analysis and areas like confidentiality, intellectual property, and the like.

Advising internal stakeholders on contractual implications of internal (improvement) projects (e.g. confidentiality or intellectual
property aspects).

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
¤ Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Law, Business Administration or a related discipline.
¤ Excellent English, spoken and written.
¤ Excellent Spanish, spoken and written
¤ At least 3 to 5 years professional experience in procurement, legal or commercial with close relationship to contracts.
¤ Successful experience in drafting and negotiating procurement and/or commercial contracts.
Experience in dealing with customers and/or suppliers, able to convey requirements and to interface with suppliers' higher
management.
¤ Skills in negotiation with suppliers and/or customers.
¤ Interfacing with other business functions (legal, finance, project management, export control, technical, etc.).
¤ Good Team spirit and business-orientation.
