Description of the job

A vacancy for a Military Aircraft Operations Information Systems Project Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Centro Bahía de Cádiz.. The successful applicant will join TOIAS2 department.
The jobholder will be in charge of being a key point of contact for Operations in Centro Bahía Cádiz Plant (TAOC) relating to:

·  Leading improvements projects in Operations (Procurement & Supply Chain, Production, Quality) systems and tools.
·  Coordinating overall CBC IS activities and projects. “ICT Plant coordinator”.
·  Being close to Operations business identifying current weak points in system landscape and way of working.
·  Identifying business requirements for improvements.
·  In addition providing specialist advice where appropriate for the Scoping, Development, Deployment/Implementation, Change Management, Application Maintenance & Evolution of relevant Operations Information Systems.

Your Responsibilities/Tasks

·  Keep a continuous alignment with the Information Systems of all the divisions to ensure the correct support to Operations.
·  Foster harmonization in IS for Operations in overall Airbus Defence and Space.
·  Lead the change management activities after the deployment of any new tool.
·  Support of “Digital Factory” for information systems in CBC Plant. To deploy Digital Factory initiatives (Paperless, Digital Bar Chart, Mobility, MES..)
·  Lead the deployment phase of “CIC/CAPP Systems Replacement”.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Bachelor degree in Engineering or Bachelor degree in Information Systems Technology; Master degree preferred.
·  At least 3-5 years of experience in the required domain, Information Systems.
·  Good communication and presentation skills and a pro-active approach to problem solving
·  The ability to work to strict timescales as part of an integrated, multidiscipline team
·  Project management skills.
·  Influence, persuasive and change management skills are required
·  English: At least advanced level required.
·  Assertiveness
·  High leadership skills
·  Proactive, problem solving and decision making
·  Experience in Operations (Procurement & Supply Chain, Production and Quality) required.
