Description of the job

A vacancy for a MBSE System Designer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe .
The successful applicant will join Engineering Department

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  MBSE System Designer in Avionics, Mainly (not only) Communication systems
·  Operational requirements analysis and avionics systems architecture definition.
·  Specification of functional and software requirements for avionics
·  Define, produce, validate and support Systems simulation products for Airbus internal and external customers matching the required safety, quality and performance levels according to Airbus systems engineering processes and the needs of our customers.

Ability to develop Systems models and simulation products for Airbus internal and external customers. Specify considering the following factors: Safety, Quality, Systems Performance, Cost, Environmental, Operational and Industrial Requirements.
INPUTS: Top Level requirements and operational needs. Sub-system interfaces from Airbus and Systems Suppliers.
OUTPUTS: Deliver safe systems which minimise operational costs and maximise performance and reliability throughout the product lifecycle.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to degree level in Engineering : Aeronautical/Industrial/Telecommunications Engineering Degree.
·  Experience in Engineering
·  Knowledge of System engineering & integration, Systems physical architecture and integration, Avionics systems and Simulation.
·  MBSE based using tools like LabVIEW, Matlab, Stakeflow and Simulink,
·  Experience in CAD (CATIA,3D),
·  Knowledge in Airbus tools like SIDIE, EPD CONNECT,
·  Validated experience with HTML languages (C++, JAVA, PYTHON, etc. Experience with scripts.),
·  Experience in Test (Benches and Ground Test),
·  Systems requirement definition and DOORS,
·  AIRBUS procedures knowledges,
·  Experience in Configuration Control and Certification,
·  Problem solving and decision making and assertiveness,
·  English and Spanish advanced.
