Description of the job

A vacancy for a MAP SYSTEMS Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Seville. The successful applicant will join TEAYM TL1 department.

·  MAP SYSTEMS mission is developed at the intersection of the Program, Industrial and Engineering domains. It is composed of a multidisciplinary, cross-functional and international team of highly skilled and motivated engineers.

As part of the Design Office Organization, MAP System Specialist role is to provide Engineering support to Final Assembly Lines, Flight Test / EDV & Delivery Center for all systems under his responsibility.

MAP Specialist must as well supports the system's development, configuration, integration/implementation and continuous airworthiness during Certification & Qualification phases.

In this position you´ll have a unique opportunity to be as close as possible to the physical Aircraft and deeply involved trough the complete Aircraft´s design, build, test process, Aircraft operations and Delivery to the Customers.

This role requires the capability to adapt to MAP environment and to develop strong links with all Engineering, DTO, FAL, Flight Tests, Flight Line, Flight Crews, Quality, Delivery and Production teams.

Tasks & accountabilities

Being the current scope A400M & LTA programs, main tasks are :

·  Diagnose and ensure resolution of any technical problem on Aircraft for the concerned systems.

·  Master the change process and configuration for your systems. Assisted by our Configuration Manager, you will support the introduction and fine tuning of new system standards to continuously improve the Aircraft (via Special Instructions / full change process)

·  Ensure continuous airworthiness and safety.

·  To generate all the documentation of engineering that can be relevant for Industrialization

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to degree level in Engineering , Industrial or Telecommunications degree will be valuable.

·  3-5 years of experience in Systems Engineering as Design office or Manufacturing Engineering.

·  English advanced

·  Spanish will be valuable
