Description of the job

A vacancy for an Extended Enterprise Detail Parts Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Tablada (Sevilla). You will join Airbus Defence & Space Operations department.

Within the domain of the manufacturing engineering, and specifically working with the external supply chain, you will guarantee the right configuration of the product for the packages outsourced in the different Military Aircraft programs.
You will hold a technical role, and be involved in one or several of the following programmes : A400M, EFA, Boeing, Light&Medium, Airbus aerostructures.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

· Configure and maintain configuration for the subcontracted product through the generation of the manufacturing configuration dossier.
· Ensure the implementation of modifications in the product with the configuration tools: SNT, ADMs, ISCMS.
· Report configuration status as well as delta1, delta2.
· Support the production process in the suppliers trough the incidences resolution as well as non conformities fixing. MRB training will be provided to the job holder.
· Contribute to the strategic knowledge management plan for the technologies that are fully outsourced, by receiving and keeping the knowledge of those technologies: machining, sheet metal, composite, pipes and welding.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

· Educated to Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree.
· At least 2 years of experience within manufacturing and/or Engineering.
· Strong interest for technical topics.
· Knowledge of configuration and associated tools.
· Negotiation level in English.
· Negotiation level in Spanish.
· Good interpersonal and communication skills.
