Description of the job

A vacancy for an Inventory Specialist has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Barajas, Madrid.
The successful applicant will join TASM department.

The jobholder is responsible for the operation and monitoring of Airbus Defence and Space Customer Services Inventories related to the integrated support of the customer's fleet, as follows:
1. Analyse Inventory & Supply-Chain data to define business improvement needs and provide solutions to identified issues
2. Guarantee stocking policies' relevancy
3. Ensure simulator pool service level in the authorized OP
4. Ensure correct implementation of projects

Tasks & accountabilities

Main activities:

1. Yearly EoY OP forecast
2. Provide monthly financial reports
3. Monitor and replenish Simulator's pool as required
4. Provide support to TASTS (Training Systems and Services) service offer definition and delivery
5. Support and functionally report to TASTO5 (Training Centres Services)
6. Represent Material Services in front of the A400M simulator customer
7. Foster inventory cleansing (PO MTO w/o demand, Buy Back)
8. Monitor and propose corrections to the stocking Policies
9. Write BRDs for SAP improvements
10. Provide Ad-hoc analysis and reports

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

1. Educated to degree level in Engineering.
2. Ability to deal with large sets of data with a strong Excel and Access experience
3. Strong knowledge of VBA for Excel
4. Good Statistical and probabilistic background
5. Good Understanding of planning & demand activity
6. Good Supply-Chain knowledge
7. Basics in Finance (ROCE, CASH vs Inventory, )
8. Basic project management knowledge (L-BIP)
9. English: negotiation level

The candidate should demonstrate:
1. A great sense of curiosity and interest in improving the processes & tools
2. Proactivity in data analysis
