Description of the job

The internship will be in Quality Conformance and GST área .
Project : Erradicate repetetive findings

·  Performs all defined quality inspection operations for all industrial operations during product manufacturing, assembly, integration, maintenance, repair

and overhaul up to product delivery. For software, this would correspond to inspection of coding and integration

·  Identifies all the deviations and attests conformity of the product to the design

Activities:

·  Performs all defined quality inspection operations up to the product delivery (including software), covering key and mandatory points.
·  Red flags all the deviations occurring on products, equipment, jigs & tools.
·  Carries out at shop floor level investigations on any quality issues, proposes containment action, searches root causes, proposes corrective and

preventive actions and improvements.

·  Guides and advises shop floor operators to take into account any quality aspects.
·  Verifies that the industrial environment, facilities, hardware and jigs & tools respond to the operations & safety requirements.
·  Attests the conformity of the product with regard to the design.

Specific of position:
1. Support Quality responsible for REC project and support the area manager to all tasks where Quality is involved
2. Contribute to anticipate non Quality, to reduce the number of non conformities and to optimize inspections
3. Ensure maturity and robustness of the Quality processes to avoid any repetitive issue and ensure their continuous improvement in collaboration with the
rest of support functions
4. Lead Quality surveillance activity with the subcontractors and the operations managed:
a. Establish monthly reports about Quality Status from the area
b. Drumbeat Non Conformities with the subcontractor company and ensure evidences of improvements
c. Control of skills and qualifications to ensure accomplish with Airbus standards. Maintain updated and controlled the skill matrix.
d. Manage interface with Q representative from the subcontractors
5. Contribute to the achievement of on-time, on-cost and on-Quality targets
6. Maintain fluent communication with Q FAL partners and collaborators (MAP, ME, PD, etc) involved in project activities to ensure the good atmosphere
and to solve the daily Q issues.
7. Lead LEAN improvements activities inside the area to achieve the global objectives: PPS2, TIPs and others.
8. Control and follow-up of Non-Conformities (HNCs, FINOBs, eTLBs, etc.)
9. Support internal and external audits where MESP is involved
10. Assure health & safety work condition and cleanliness rules
11. Work under Lean standards and Quest philosophy.

We are looking for candidates with following skills and experience:
¤ Educated to degree level in Engineering
¤ Experience in Quality and Project management
¤ Experience with the A400M program is essential
¤ SAP and Primes knowledge
¤ Proficient use of Office
¤ Programming knowledge would be a plus
¤ Negotiation level of English and Spanish
