Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Manage the material, economical and human resources available to deliver to our costumer on time, on quality and on cost, by means of:

a. Leading Level 2 SQCDP board
b. Coordinating operationally all production lines, support departments (Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, MRB, Lean Manufacturing, Tooling, and Logistic) and the different teams that work on the area.
c. Leading and developing Lean Manufacturing concepts and promoting continuous improvements to optimize the production processes
d. Work progress and resources capability
e. Handle workshop management and operator teams
f. Lean actions status (PPS, TIP, and Process Confirming)

·  Ensure the availability of parts and productive means needed for A400M Power Plant lower Shell Assembly area.
·  People Management, this is one of the most important points. It is very important to be able to build a team spirit. Manage skills development for personnel, suggesting training programs and career development actions. Ensures level of competences and skills in adequacy with the workload to be achieved.
·  Set up participation, communication and motivation actions for the teams that work on the area.
·  Establish a clear and efficient way of working recognized by the entire team, promoting the Airbus tools and way forward.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
·  3 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality or lean.
·  English and Spanish must be negotiation level.
·  Good communication skills and pro-active approach to problem solving.
·  Ability to work under pressure as part of an integrated multidiscipline team.
