IM is the Information Technology (IT) business enabler and unique IM Business Partner for Airbus Defence and Space. As a central function, IM is involved in all business processes and enables technical as well as management careers. Then join us as a GSD (Ground Support Devices) Requirements Manager in the IM Unit "Services Solutions, M&A, CIS & UAS". This Unit acts as the IM Business Partner for all service and support functions in the Airbus Defence and Space businesses as well as for the Business Clusters CIS (Communications, Intelligence and Security) and UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems). In addition, the Unit manages the subsidiary landscape of the Divisions from an IT perspective and the M&A activities.

Carry out the requirements gathering, (including customer involvement activities), write down the detailed functional specification, and perform the functional validation of engineering modules related with the analysis and exploit of A/C data in ground support systems related with the maintenance domain to ensure these systems fit for the purpose of covering operational scenarios and fulfill the contractual requirements agreed with our external customers.
To liaise with the customer in requirements gathering and operational scenario identification in the context of ground support tool, specifically for modules related with engineering analysis of A/C data, including preparation and attendance to requirements clarification sessions;
To liaise with engineering organizations that are in charge of specifying algorithms for A/C data analysis to ensure that the corresponding specification is well understood and agree on development plan, validation activities and artifacts to be produced to ensure correct implementation of the agreed solution;
To liaise with technical experts (IT system architects, software architects and software development experts) in the definition of workable solutions that meet the customer needs and at the same time fit within the technical constraints of the systems:
To study regulations to be fulfilled and transform them in a set of functional requirements;
To agree/apply interface definition documents with other systems/organizations as well as A/C related specifications (systems, A/C files) to be taken in account in the design of the ground support system;
To write down detailed functional specification traceable with the contract;
To write down detailed validation scenarios to ensure adequate end-to-end validation of the implemented solution;
To prepare and conduct design and implementation reviews with the customer in order to gather feedback on the correctness of the solution;
To collaborate with the software development team in the identification of risks, gaps in the specification, early validation of the solutions, and eventually prioritization of tasks to ensure that the best achievable software product is obtained;
To carry out and record formal validation activities on the final product to ensure correctness of the solution, detect bugs/malfunctions, raise limitations and identify possible mitigations;
To write qualification tests procedures, traceable with the contract requirements;
To support or conduct product qualification activities with the customer;

Previous experience in software development projects;
Knowledge of nathematical models and algorithms required;
Knowledge of regulations, A/C specifications, maintenance domain an the related processes is advisable;
Previous experience in use of DOORS and other tools used for requirement management advisable;
