Description of the job

The main activity of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) SP (TASSE6) is the identification and development of the equipments required to support the Operation and Maintenance of the aircraft, systems and components.
Main programs under our responsibility are: A400M, Combat Aircrafts, Airbus Military Derivatives (MRTT's) and Medium and Light Aircraft (M&L).

The position will be covered for six months in Madrid, and then 2 years with the client (Netherlands or Germany).

Tasks & accountabilities

Tasks to be performed for the development of a GSE:
- Preparation of Technical Specifications
- Technical support to supplier selection
- Design follow-up
- Prototype Manufacturing follow-up
- Validation of the equipment on the aircraft
- Qualification and Compatibility Tests
Other tasks to be performed:
- Preparation of GSE recommendations for the Customers.
- Evaluations (Site Surveys) of the Customer existing capabilities concerning GSE

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
• Educated in an Engineering degree.
• Experience in engineering field (less than 3 years). Experience value: MRO/FSR
• Experience in managing people and conflicts.
• Advanced level in English.
• Advanced level in Spanish.
• German or French would be an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to propose new ideas.
• Able to work in a multi-cultural environment.
