Description of the job

A vacancy for a Flight Operational Dispatcher has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in San Pablo (Sevilla). The successful applicant will join TAEV department.

You will work in a moving environment. You will have an important role in preparing the dossiers for pilots before the flights. You will have to gather the requested information and to ensure that it is complete and up to date. You will also manage crew licences, be in contact with handling companies.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Coordinate the daily flight.
·  Perform the flight plan.
·  Reviewing meteorological conditions.
·  NOTANs (Notice to Airmans).
·  Coordinate with Air Space.
·  Prepare and assist all the outside missions of the Airbus DS aircrafts when deployed for flight test, commercial demonstration or ferry flights.
·  Coordinate handling and airspace fees for Airbus flights operations, including the financial aspects.
·  Coordinate Crew licences with the Aeronautical Authorities.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to Aeronautical Engineering or related discipline.
·  Knowledge and experience of Flight dispatch/support and operations control (flight planning, crew briefing, meteo and NOTAM analyses, emergency), flight scheduling (requesting and arranging overflight/landing permits, slots, handling and fuel arrangements, additional supplementary services).
·  Ability to interpret weather and NOTAM information as well as airport/airspace NAV charts.
·  IT skills/experience in use of dispatch related software – flight planning systems (i.e. Jeppview, Flitestar, Icaro, UFP… ).
·  Be familiar with aircraft performance, understanding of aircraft systems and equipment international regulations, EASA rules, operations manual (OM), flight entry requirements.
·  Proactive with strong organizing skills, team-oriented, flexible and able to provide solid results in a challenging context.
·  Able to work diligently, independently and reliably.
·  Excellent communication skills in English / oral and written.
·  Negotiation level in Spanish.
