Description of the job

A vacancy for a Embedded Software Engineering has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Madrid (Getafe).

The successful applicant will join the Networks & Military Comms department.

Tasks & accountabilities

The main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  SW Req. Analysis
·  SW Design
·  SW Coding
·  SW Verification
·  SW Configuration
·  SW Documentation release.
·  SW Change Management.
·  SW Audits and Reviews

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a degree level (or equivalent) in industrial or aeronautical engineering or a related discipline.
·  3 to 5 years of experience in engineering.
·  English must be negotiation level, written and spoken.
·  Expertise on Real-Time software
·  Expertise on C/C++ and Ada
·  Expertise on software verification.
·  Experience on: Design Tools (HOOD, Rhapsody), integrated development environment (GPS, AdaMulti, Eclipse), verification tools (TestStand, AdaTest95, IBM RTRT)
·  SW Certification: DO-178B/C, EFA Standards.
