Description of the job

A vacancy for a Electrical Design Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Airbus Defence and Space Madrid (ex Airbus Military). The successful applicant will join TEASY-TL3 department.

Tasks & accountabilities

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

·  Definition, Development, Integration and Installation of Electrical Systems (ATA92/87)
·  Including Diagrams, Looms/Harnesses, Routing Installations, Electrical Equipment Installations.
·  Design Electrical Systems Installations according to the procedures of Airbus Defence & Space and/or Airbus and/or Collaboration Programs rules.
·  Design and Management of Changes
·  Definition and Documentation of Electrical Systems (Wiring Diagrams, Harnesses & Installations ,Electrical Boxes & Electrical Equipment Installations)
·  Electrical Components Selection. Catia and SIDIE Electrical Libraries Management
·  Support activities of Production and Electrical Manufacturing Engineering
·  Support to Certification activities
·  Support to MAP, FAL and Services Engineering

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated in an Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
·  Good communication skills and pro-active approach to problem solving.
·  Strong English skills, both verbal and written.
·  Ability to work under strict timescales as part of an integrated and multifunctional team.
·  International project experience.
·  Assertiveness.
·  Open minded and active to new challenges.
