Description of the job
Expert in IT customs solutions with a strong knowledge in customs procedures and with high capacity to coordinate Customs needs with IT departments.
Evaluate and improve IT customs solution. To define and propose solutions for new legal/functional requirements
Support for future SAP GTS implementation.
Define modifications to adapt the IT customs solution to new Customs & Foreign Trade authorizations and regulations.
Supervise the IPR trazability from an IT point of view in order to ensure the correct discharge
Analize customs declarations data transmited to Spanish authorities by EDI or web services.
Develop IT solutions compliance tests.
Extract and analize customs data from SICEX main database.
Analysis and automatization of customs tasks.
Identify issues, risks and opportunities in the current system defining the appropriate mitigation actions and/or contingency plans.
Classify AIRBUS commodities in accordance with the Combined Nomenclature (CN).
IT Focal Point for Customs Department projects and for corporate projects in which Customs Department is involved/requested.
Liaise with project coordinators, programs focal points and other stakeholders.
Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
• To define, develop and implement a detailed customs procedure in Airbus Spain based on the general CUSTOMS PROCEDURE FOR INCOMING AND OUTWARD OF AIRCRAFTS IN AIRBUS Spain in compliance with the Union Customs Code.
• To analyze and coordinate the information of the different feeder systems involved in the operations of Retrofits, Conversion or Mainteinance of aircrafts to ensure the proper treatment in the IPR.
• To coordinate with SICEX IT team the implementation of the appropriate interfaces with the feeder systems in order to ensure a proper IPR inventory management as well as to ensure the accuracy of the import and export declarations.
• To supervise and solve incidences during the IT solution implementation phase.
• To manage the customs solution for the implementation of the Retrofit Kits for A400M in order to ensure the correct VAT & Intrastat declarations made in Spain on behalf of the Natcos.
• To elaborate the necessary Technical Specifications for operational work packages to be subcontracted to the current Service Provider as well as to support the implementation during the learning curve.

Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
• Educated to finance, legal degree or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in customs gained in a forwarding agent, or Transport Company or a lawyer.
• Good knowledge of customs processes.
• Advanced level of Spanish and English, French would be a plus.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
