Description of the job
A new vacancy for a Radios System Engineering team has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe, Spain.
The successful applicant will join to TEAYA department.
Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
¤ Support feasibility studies for new products/user needs, etc.
¤ Good knowledge of Communication Functions in M&L platforms.
¤ Develop R&T programs related to SDR/SCA Radios.
¤ Background Knowledge: Radios (VHF, V/UHF, HF), SATCOM and Datalink.
¤ Allocate these requirements to the Communication System.
¤ Requirement Management; Creation and maintenance of the RVTM.
¤ Define the Architecture and specifications of the Communication system being part of the avionics suite (an element of a marketed solution).
¤ Elaborate engineering design documentation.
¤ Support test campaign sequencing, test procedures & facilities. Define test equipment and tooling requirements and ensure their timely availability.
¤ Perform and/or monitor tests and perform real-time analysis of test results. Release test analysis & correlation reports after test completion.
¤ Be responsible of Communication systems integration activities.
¤ Supplier technical management
¤ Support the whole design process including design review meetings
¤ Support to meetings with end customer
¤ Support Certification and Qualification process.
¤ Support Technical Publications (AFM, FCOM, etc.)
¤ Support transversal areas such as Services, Production, Procurement, etc.
¤ Be at the state of the art of international regulations: ICAO, FAA, EASA, EUROCONTROL, etc.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
¤ Educated to Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
¤ More than 3 years of experience in systems engineering or development of avionics system, preferably Communication systems.
¤ Chartered Telecommunications Engineering degree or equivalent.
¤ Good communication skills and pro-active approach to problem solving.
¤ Strong English skills, both verbal and written.
¤ Ability to work under strict timescales as part of an integrated and multifunctional team.
¤ International project experience.
¤ Open minded and active to new challenges.
