Description of the job

Two vacancies for Assembly Office have arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Barajas (Getafe).
The successful applicant will join MANUFACTURING / Manufacturing Engineering.

The successful applicant should be able to work on shifts, if required.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Technical Support: providing engineering support to ASE projects and general studies in the field of Assembly throughout all project phases.
·  Planning: generation of the Assembly Schedule, defining assembly activities, long and short-term needs, monitoring activities and identification of critical areas. Participating to the overall Manufacturing Planning.
·  Manufacturing Support: engineering support for the preparation of manufacturing activities, assembly tools, design adaptation for manufacturing, assembly process, manufacturing feasibility.
·  Assembly Tools & MGSE: providing engineering support for the procurement, requirements definition and identification of critical areas and follow up of design activities.
·  Manufacturing Documentation: engineering support for the preparation of manufacturing documentation: assembly procedures, manufacturing Flows, work shop orders, internal and external documentation.
·  Monitoring of Assembly Activities: engineering support during the manufacturing activities at the Workshop (planning monitoring, problems identification and report, coordination between areas).
·  Knowledge Transfer: contributing to the dissemination of the results of the activities perform and transfer of knowledge across the department.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or a related discipline.
·  At least 2-3 years of experience in structures.
·  English and Spanish must be negotiation level.
·  Demonstrable knowledge in CATIA.
·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
·  Planning and organization skills.
·  Proactive attitude.
