Description of the job
A vacancy for a Aeroelasticity & Structural Dynamicshas arisen within Airbus Defence & Space Getafe (ex Airbus Military).The successful applicant will join TAEGD department.

Tasks & accountabilities
The main tasks are:
· Full aircraft dynamic modeling using Finite Element Method (FEM) Technique. Normal modes analysis. Update FE model to match Ground Vibration Test (GVT) results.
· Unsteady aerodynamics modeling. Doublet Lattice Method (DLM). Update model to match CFD, Wind Tunnel Test, Flight Test.
· Static aeroelastic analysis of components and full aircraft including divergence and control reversal analysis.
· Flutter analysis. Normal cases. Failure cases. EFCS failure cases. Limit Cycle Oscillations (LCO).
· GVT specification. GVT performance using LMS software. Experimental modal Analysis results.
· Flight Flutter Test (FVT) specification. FVT performance using jFlutter tool. FVT results.
· Update aeroelastic models to match FVT
· Ground Dynamic loads analysis (Dynamic Landing, Taxi, Nose Wheel Imbalance (NWI), etc.
· Flight Dynamic Loads (Discrete Tuned Gust (DTG), Continuous Turbulence (CT), Buffet, Blade Loss, Wind milling, etc.)
· Impacts analysis (bird strike, ice impacts, tyre debris, crashworthiness, ditching, wheels up landing, etc.)
Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
· Advanced level in English.
· Advanced level in Spanish.
· German or French would be an asset.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Able to propose new ideas.
· Able to work in a multi-cultural environment.
