A vacancy for a A400M Test & Industrial Means Manufacturing Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in San Pablo, Sevilla.

Tasks & accountabilities

·  Develop, implement and support concepts for innovative tooling design and define manufacturing and assembly process according to customer´s requirements and ergonomic standards.
·  Manage and monitor contractual relationship to successfully ensure the delivery on Time, Cost and Quality, with relevant supply chain organization.
·  Inputs: New process requirements. Product configuration awareness. Future business requirements. Manufacturing feedback (KAIZEN, Practical Problem Solving).
·  Outputs: Tools to be used in Manufacturing and related documentation.
·  The jobholder mission will be to perform A400M Test and Industrial Means Department activities for A400M FAL (Sevilla) and A400M IFA&CH (Bremen) plants.
·  The Department functions covers industrial means and assembly means' whole life cycle (requirements definition, design, manufacturing, validation, verification) until entry into service.
·  The jobholder will receive the requirements and needs related to assembly/industrial means from internal customers (Manufacturing Engineering, Production,Quality).
·  The jobholder will ensure the implementation of assembly/industrial means on Cost, on Quality and on Time, taking into account internal customers' requirements and following the established processes.
·  The jobholder will be also responsible for the management of the procurements related to assembly/industrial means (budget, planning, implementation).

Required skills

·  Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering
·  At least 3 years' experience in a similar area.
·  Experience in Project Management would be a plus.
·  Experience in aircraft installations and mechanics would be a plus.
·  Personal Skills: leadership, management, negotiation, goal oriented.
·  English and Spanish must be negotiation level.
·  Knowledge in German would be a plus.
