Description of the job

A vacancy for A400M Services program Quality has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Madrid.
The successful applicant will join (QUALITY / Assurance).

The successful applicant should be able to work on shifts, if required.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Support the aircraft quality program organization to solve the aircraft issues or quality escapes of production interacting with the in-service phase.
·  Support the adequate improvement plans to achieve program improvement and problem solving. Launch and coordinate the necessary quality corrective actions to solve potential issues identified for the program.
·  Prepare, maintain and update the appropriate quality documents, procedures, plans in accordance with the program requirements. Focal point and contribution for the maintenance of the list of applicable rules (LAR).
·  Manage the KPI´s to show the performance on quality for the different services disciplines and produce the KPI repot to be presented on the Program review meetings.
·  Contribute to the necessary process definition or changes and implementation to comply with program and customer requirements.
·  Coordinate with the services centers of competence on their contribution to the necessary actions.
·  Receive customer issues through CRM, and lead the response to the customer, involving different functions and organizations.
·  Support to the improvement and resolution of the issues related to aircraft maturity.
·  Support to the aircraft program for quality contractual requirements fulfilment on activities.
·  Support to the head of program in services for presentations and actions in meetings with program management, customer and authorities.

This role will involve frequent travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or a related discipline.
·  At least 3 - 5 years of experience in quality.
·  English and Spanish must be fluent level.
·  Structured, good organization and prioritization skills.
·  Able to complete multiple tasks within a short timeframe despite complex environment.
·  Ability to take initiatives.
