Description of the job
As Technical Publications – A400M IPD (Illustrated Parts Data) Responsible, you will responsible for several A400M chapters of the IPD infoset and other associated data.

Tasks & accountabilities
As Technical Publications – A400M IPD Chapters Responsible, you will responsible for A400M chapters of the IPD infoset.
A - Launch Work packages of the assigned infoset.
B - Check work orders received from the subcontractors for the infoset. These checks will be according to the specific quality guide and using authoring IT tools.
C - Allow a cost reduction by launching accurate work orders for authoring activities
D - Keep always a clear control of the technical level of the documentation (Criteria and Source data) of the job in progress including IPPNs iaw S2000M
E - Satisfy and facilitate the history tracing (source and criteria).
F - Manage and control the Service Provider IPD assigned chapters authoring production (quality and lead time) iaw S1000D.
G - Organize the training sessions on business and authoring tools.
H - Report the results of the Incoming Inspection and help to establish mitigation plan.
I - Coordinate the Technical Publication Workshare Document (TPWD) update for assigned chapters of the IPD Info Set.
J - Define the guides and reference documents to manage the authoring in accordance with the business rules and procedures.
K - Provide technical expertise to the subcontracting companies
L - Set-up of priorities of authoring activities / productions to reach the contractual delivery dates.
M - Do the pre-analysis (TCCB1): check and validate the proposed list of DMs and associated criteria to be launched for a Scheduled revision, fixing priorities when necessary.
N - Do the detailed Analysis Validation and Launching Work Order (TCCB2): During this phase, the TID Expert may ask the service provider to re-examine the impact analysis. In this case, the service provider must perform again the previous phase. The V&V strategy (necessity or not of D/O check) is defined at this step.
O - Coordinate the Incoming Inspection, Design Office and On Aircraft verifications
P - Ensure the final release, verifies and closes the AWOs
Q - Decide the release of the Service Provider deliveries
R - Provide support for any authoring tools/Work process/business rules.
S - Contribute to the test acceptance of the authoring tools
T - Insure and follow-up any further actions impacting the final deliverables to the Customers.
U - Analyze A/C change criteria and determine the relevant AM impacts
V - Manage and coordinate the response to AM Customer Comments.
W - Define the Info Set Product Definition at High and Low Level
X - Ensure the authoring management in term of processes, tools and way of working.
OUTPUTS: A - The jobholder will deliver timely optimum Technical Data in response to technical data criteria issues to cover:
a. Continued Airworthiness and Safety of maintenance of the in-service fleet.
b. Contractual commitments in terms of maintenance performance under the Full In-Service Support Customer Services contracts.
c. Customer Satisfaction (including on time customer comments)
B - The jobholder will identify and report any airworthiness related issue covered under ‘scope' in order to effectively contribute to the Airbus DS Transport obligations related to Continued Airworthiness.
C - The jobholder will also collect and compile in-service data/experience in order to deliver inputs for new designs and ensure that lessons learned related to the ‘scope' are made available and thus contributing to improve Airbus DS Transport Technical Data products.
Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
· Educated to degree level in Engineering.
· Customer minded.
· Able to perform under time, cost and quality demand.
· Able to communicate directly with the customer or the Program Office on technical data issues.
· English & Spanish: Negotiation level.
· Knowledge of International Standards (e.g. S1000D/S2000M)
