A vacancy for a A400M - Flight Line & Delivery MAP Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in San Pablo (Seville).
The successful applicant will join TAEAM department.

Tasks & accountabilities

Based at the A400M FAL in Seville and reporting to the Head of MAP A400M (TAEAM), the Flight Line & Delivery MAP Manager is responsible for managing all MAP activities on Production Aircraft during the PATM (Production Ground & Flight Tests) & CAM (Customer Acceptance tests) phases.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Monitor and control the A/C configuration in order to secure that First Flight target configuration is achieved before First Flight of the aircraft, and that minimum required configuration is achieved to support PATM tests.
·  Assist MEVR, the Flight Line and the Delivery Centre in the definition and planning of the PATM and CAM program.
·  Synchronize all Flight Test Requests (FTR) to be carried out if any.
·  Ensure and coordinate troubleshooting and engineering support from MAP specialist teams, steering priorities in accordance with PATM and CAM planning.
·  Recommend solutions to solve multi-disciplinary issues.
·  Follow up manufacturing defects, design deficiencies and snags.
·  Identify and report main technical issues to Chief Engineer office.

The jobholder will manage Production Aircraft technical preparation and follow-up for PATM and CAM tests at Flight Line and Delivery Center in close coordination with Flight Test Crew (MEV), MAP specialists, Design Office, Flight Data Analysis, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality and Planning. The jobholder will also ensure engineering support to MEV as required guaranteeing successful PATM and CAM completion.
The jobholder will be working in several projects.

·  Ensures the correct configuration and appropriate technical status of the A/C for the different tests performed during PATM and CAM phases.
·  Ensures minimum disruption to the program as results of engineering issues.
·  Ensures proper coordination of main technical issues with Chief Engineering and Design Office.
·  Ensures adequate engineering support to the Flight Line and the Delivery Centre is provided by MAP to achieve On Time Aircraft Delivery to the Customer.
·  Provides technical expertise to the Flight Test Crew and Delivery Centre and in particular supports discussions with the Customer on Technical status of the aircraft to be delivered.
·  Provides technical expertise to MEV (FTEs and TFEs) as required

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to an Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
·  With at least 3-5 years of experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Production.
·  Strong capabilities to set up structured and rigorous means of configuration management.
·  Basic Knowledge of Aircraft Configuration Management rules and Ground Test process
·  Basic knowledge of Engineering Processes and Tools related to Aircraft Configuration Change.
·  Basic knowledge of A400M architecture and functionalities.
·  Is mandatory a high level of team working spirit.
·  High Ability to build excellent communication and relationship with various functions (MAP, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering).
·  High Ability to continuously adapt to evolving environment.
·  Ability of fast learning.
·  Negotiation level of English
·  Advanced level of Spanish
