Description of the job

A vacancy for a A320 Configuration Manager – Temporary has arisen within Airbus in Getafe.
The successful applicant will join (PROGRAMMES / Configuration management).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Configuration Management (CM) is an Airbus Key Competence that ensures customer requests are met in-line with the required Airworthiness requirements.
·  On a yearly basis we have to ensure the configuration of 600+ at rates up to 63 aircraft per month from 4 FAL's worldwide.
·  One position has been arisen for a configuration integrator, on a temporary basis, within Airbus Operations AOSL.
·  Support to the Program team for the entire modification lifecycle and the product structure maintenance, focused on the configuration control system implementation.
·  Coordinate the modifications and the product structure development according to the corresponding scheduling.
·  Manage the configuration activities (Full Change Process, attestation and conformity, etc.) related to the modification introduction, supporting to the A320 CM Team.
·  Secure the relevant industrial milestones according to the configuration and technical requirements / repercussions.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline.
·  At least 2 years of experience as Configuration Manager.
·  Previous experience in team management.
·  Good knowledge in stakeholders.
·  English and Spanish must be negotiation level.
