Van Driver Required

Salary: £10.25ph - will increase depending on working hours
Location: South London - Driving in and around Central London
Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8am - 5pm

Must Have:
Full clean UK driving licence - Ideally somewhere to park the vehicle overnight.
Min 2yrs UK commercial driving experience
Customer facing experience
Min 5yrs check-able employment history
Able to provide proof of eligibility

Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced driver to escort and support their field based electric meter engineers in Central London.

You will be based from your home address and will be picked up by the most local engineer to you. However, in some instances you may be asked to make your own way to a location via public transport and any costs associated with this may be claimed back from the client via expenses.

Your main function will be to work with the electricity meter engineers daily in Central London - as such a good knowledge of the London road network.

Whilst our electricity meter engineers are working in the clients customers properties, you will be required to look after the company vehicle and ensure that no parking tickets or fines are incurred by the client. There may also be occasions when you will be needed on the customer's site to support our engineers.

You will be working mainly 5 days out of Monday to Saturday between 8am-17.00, although to meet the needs of the clients customers at times you may need to work outside of this as well as at weekends which will be paid on overtime where applicable.

You must be prepared to work in all weathers, and in sometimes difficult or dirty conditions as some metering equipment can be in based in areas such as basements or outside. A reasonable level of physical fitness and manual dexterity is also required to undertake regular manual handling.
