The successful candidate will have experience in a technical or quality role in the food industry or related industries. They will have meticulous attention to detail and maintain awareness of market trends in order to guide the company with NPD.

The individual will have a track record of technical and quality success and hands-on problem solving in a small business environment. Good inter-personal and communication skills are a necessity, as are planning abilities and an understanding of the relationships between the various functions within a business allied with professional written and verbal communication skills.

The individual will be able to demonstrate competence in the production of technical documentation, specifically (but not restricted to) SOPs and Product Specifications. The individual will also be able to demonstrate confidence and competence in carrying out rigorous internal audits.

Must be able to work independently and make decisions and be able to deal with multiple tasks simultaneously to meet daily job requirements. They will have exceptional organisational skills, a natural can-do attitude and great attention to detail. Exceptionally strong computer skills are essential including, but not restricted to, Excel, PowerPoint and general Microsoft packages. An ability to embrace new systems and learn new software quickly.

The suitable candidate must have a professional approach. The candidate also needs a clean driving licence and a valid passport.
