Sub Arc Welder Wanted

Based in Brierley Hill

My client is looking to recruit an experienced Sub Arc Welder to join their organisation on a permanent basis.

Candidates must have previous experience within the same role including

·  Submerged Arc, MIG, TIG & FCAW

Duties Include

·  Competent in SAW, F.C.A.W. & TIG Welding.

·  Grinding welds and parent metal as required (i.e. weld cut backs, flushing weld beads with parent metal etc.).

·  Air Arc welds for cut backs.

·  Follow weld procedure specifications.

·  Undertake welder qualifications when necessary.

·  Control of consumable requisition notes & return to stores / Q.A. Department.

·  To handle materials with an overhead crane and weld materials to produce various tubulars & fabrications.

·  Set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
