Job Title: Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner

Location: Poole, United Kingdom

Position Overview: Adecco is currently seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner to fill a position in Poole.

As a Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner, you will play a crucial role in crafting and assembling wooden components to create custom furniture and joinery items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking, excellent craftsmanship skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

·  Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.

·  Select and prepare wood materials for construction, including cutting, shaping, and finishing.

·  Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.

·  Assemble wooden components to construct high-quality furniture and joinery items.

·  Ensure precision and accuracy in all measurements and cuts.

·  Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

·  Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

·  Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

·  Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cabinet Maker, Bench Joiner, or similar role in a woodworking environment.

·  Proficiency in using woodworking tools and machinery, such as saws, planers, routers, and sanders.

·  Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

·  Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

·  Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

·  Good communication and teamwork skills.

·  Ability to work independently and efficiently.

·  Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies in woodworking.
