Job Description

·  Responsible for all sales activities and personnel involved in the Sales department.
·  Provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the department, while focusing on the Organization’s strategic goals.
·  Manage a portfolio of major accounts that have specific potential for hotels Business Events Segment,
·  Build close working relationships with key decision makers and increase account market share.
·  Research and develop new business opportunities across the Business Events segment.
·  Assist in preparation of budget, revenue strategies and sales & marketing plans.
·  Maximise revenue by promoting Hotels products including restaurants and other outlets by cross selling/up selling.
·  Prepare a monthly Sales Report reflecting activities, market intelligence and adjustments to the sales activity plan.
·  Represent the Hotel at Business Events trade shows, seminars, sales trips as and when required.

Qualifications

·  Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management
·  Excellent Communication Skills.
·  Ability to think strategically, inductively, and creatively.
·  Pleasant personality
·  Synergies across the network.
·  Strong Operational/Technical Knowledge.
·  12+years’ industry experience in up market brands with 1-2 year of experience in a similar role.
·  Well versed with latest trends and techniques in market.
