Job Description

·  Assist management to supervise team members under his/her leadership/section and to ensure that all tasks assigned/required in the outlet are carried out on time and according to instruction and departmental standards
·  Coordinate and assist in opening/closing duties and ensure that all settings are completed according to standards and procedures prior to the start of operation
·  Provide outstanding and enthusiastic service to guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience, attending to their needs, and exceeding their expectations
·  Present menus, provide information about specials, answer guests' questions about menu items
·  Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to kitchen and bar colleagues using computerized systems
·  Check guest satisfaction, report any problems, take appropriate action to correct them
·  Maintain a safe, clean, tidy, organized, well-stocked work area, including assigned tables
·  Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
·  Ensure tables are properly set, cleared, and reset throughout shift
·  Maintain a professional appearance and relationship with colleagues
·  Anticipate guests needs, respond to them promptly and acknowledge guest, however busy and whatever time of the day.
·  Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
·  Assist with the training and development of Food & Beverage Servers
·  Other duties as assigned
·  Collect food and beverage supply requisition, ensure that the stock collected is as per requisition
·  Supervise and assist in assigned work station’s activities and oversee the operation of outlet in the absence of management
·  Assist other Food & Beverage outlets with their operations during peak times or when required
·  Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management
·  Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

·  2+ years of experience in the restaurant industry
·  Strong understanding of food and beverage service
·  Experience in managing and training a team
·  Proficient in the use of restaurant POS systems
·  Excellent customer service skills
·  Attention to detail and accuracy
·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
